The good Lady and I spent two nights here during Cowes week ( 10 minute walk from the chain Ferry) and loved it. Rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The Staff are very helpful, chatty and all very nice. Breakfast was good made from high quality ingredients. There is a little road noise at the front of the hotel,...

This was the 4th place we've stayed on the Isle of Wight, and we definitely won't be back. Duty manager officious on the verge of rude, bed so uncomfortable neither my husband or I slept a wink, fruit salad at breakfast must have been made at least a couple of days before and was starting to ferment, and when I...

Using a voucher from The Price is White we booked an afternoon tea at the Albert Cottage. Everything was as good as we hoped it would be, the atmosphere in the restaurant and the gardens were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they re-filled tea pots, offered water and checked that we were happy. The food was...

Booked the afternoon tea at the Albert Cottage for an extra present for my mums 70th birthday. We shared a Presecco afternoon tea which was really lovely. Three scrumptious tiers of sandwiches, little cakes and scones all washed down with a pot of tea followed by a glass of Prosecco. The staff, especially Sean, were very friendly and attentive, even...

The hotel was chosen for its links to the past (being part of the osbourne estate and was occupied by members of the royal household ) and its proximity to Osbourne House and other things I wanted to do over the weekend. It has a good location being also close to Cowes where there are lots of good restaurants. My...

We stayed here for two nights here. The location was ideal because we wanted to visit Osborne House which is just 15 minutes walk from the hotel which is small with just a dozen or so rooms but we found the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, lots of it and very tasty, spacious bedrooms with large...

We had booked an overnight stay to round off our visit to the IOW Festval. From the first step into the hotel we were made most welcome and royally looked after. We had booked a dinner bed and breakfast deal, and what fantastic value. The dinner was excellent with my wife rating her pork main course as one of the...

We used the hotel as our bolt hole whilst attending the IoW festival and in honesty we only slept and ate breakfast there. However the staff are very friendly and very helpful including taking us in to town when no taxis were around or available. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well serviced. Breakfast is good and plentiful. I would think a...

This former country house is almost too good for me to write about-simply beautiful and would find it hard to fault in anyway. The current family owners have recently completed THE most amazing job on refurbishing this stunning building. We were blown away with the accuracy and intricacy of the work that had been done. Sumptious furnishing, beautifully executed painting,...

Somehow i always refer this cottage as 'Royal Albert Cottage'. That says it all. We stayed there for a friend's wedding and what a lovely experience it was. Located just walking distance from the ferry terminal of Isle of Wight, this is one the best stays we had in a cottage. Our Family room was so huge that you can...
