Delightful hosts, most welcoming, like a home from home. Comfy bed, relaxing ambience. Full marks for the breakfast. If you want to wind down and relax I highly recommend Ruskin Lodge. I could also charge my electric car.

Great hosts, beautiful house and fabulous breakfast. Briliant value for money. Well kept family home, clean and tasteful. Had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay whilst hiking the coastal path.

We found Ruskin Lodge through trip advisor. We paid a deposit by transfer. We took a car ferry from Southampton. Did you know you are over half way to East Cowes by the time you've cleared the Southampton Water? There's a lovely park behind the...More

With the strains of a grand piano wafting through this lovely late Victorian home and surrounded by period furniture and original art works, one could easily be back in the days of John Ruskin and Lewis Carroll.....but not unless they had wifi too!! Second time...More
