I booked a twin room for my wife and myself and a single for my father-in law. Both rooms were barely adequate, having very old furniture and furnishings, faded, dirty-looking carpet tiles and a musty smell. Beds were old and lumpy, sheets worn and the pillows were thin. The ensuite bathroom was so tiny the towel rail had to be swung...

Stayed at the Seahaven in Ryde for six days. It's very handy for a basic with no frills stay, although the ferry and buses were in walking distance. We were very lucky on arrival to be put in to seaview room. However the room was a lot to be desired. Not very clean and very tired furniture. The TV was...

The owner was very friendly during check in and I was lucky to receive a room overlooking the ocean which was lovely. However I was unfortunately disappointed with the room. I found it to be really quite dirty. The shower had soap scum and pubic hair left in there. The carpet was dirty and appeared to have stains. The wifi...

We stayed in one of the double bedrooms at the front hotel and the view was amazing! Our bedroom was clean and tidy every single day and breakfast , made by James, was fantastic and extremely tasty! James and the rest of the team were extremely friendly and welcoming towards us when arriving and departing! All the questions we needed...

Handy Location with a short walk from Ryde pier. Our room was very clean and bright and had a lovely sea view, great for people watching. We had a.fab family stay with a great choice of breakfast and James was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return again.

Stayed at this place for 5 nights during my stay in Ryde. My room was kept well clean and tidy and James the owner was good enough to ask me beforehand whether or not I wanted a sea view which definitely did not disappoint. It was good to see Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower lit up at night as well as the...

Stayed at Seahaven beginning of June for the weekend. Great seafront location. Only minutes from the hover & catamaran ports. Room was clean & tidy, but could do with an update. Shower wasn't brilliant. We didn't have breakfasts on our stay, but it did smell good! Would defo stay here again

Excellent location, close to all the local amenities, pubs, high street shops and a 5 minute walk from the Ryde Esplanade. Perfect to explore the island either by train or bus. The owners were very friendly and helped me in all of my requests.

This is a classic Victorian guesthouse. James, the owner, was super nice and treated us like guests in his home. True, he's running the place on his own so he's not always available; those who want full staffing should go to a hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the view and location can't be beaten. I would have to agree...
