We had two single rooms for one night. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had lovely views over the Solent. The service was excellent, and staff went above and beyond to make the stay a good experience. I will certainly use this hotel in future visits to the IOW

Room was very comfortable, top floor at rear of building with a great view of the pier and the sea. Staff were excellent, food very good, shame no lift, so stairs a challenge after walking up Union street, but keeps you fit! Had a great time overall.

Stayed at Yelfs with a party of 10 for a weekend on the Isle of Wight. On arrival I experienced a very warm welcome, with he receptionist being very upbeat, polite and friendly. After checking in we discovered we were in the Annex to the hotel which was just over the road. This was no problem and the room I...

Booked a single room for two night, B & B, discovered I had a nice large room (I've stayed in smaller double rooms). On the down side, their is no heated towel rail in the bathroom, makes it a bit difficult when the hotel puts a notice in the bathroom asking to give consideration to the environment and re-use your...

Room was better than I expected. Big, surprisingly very warm and clean. BUT!!! Only one single socket, this is ridiculous. Double room for couple with double bed and only one single socket. Had to manage with phones charging. Luckily there is nice cosy bar downstairs: good beer, good environment, food served till late. So we spent our evenings there, enjoying...

My partner and I stayed one night at the Yelf's Hotel and we have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and explained everything well in terms of breakfast/door codes etc.. It makes a massive difference when we are greeted with smiles :) Our room was rather spacious with an extra "lounging" area and all amenties you would expect for...

Whilst the ambience is very nice, the food and service has been poor the three times my friend and I have visited for lunch. We ate from the bar menu, soup and jacket potato, the potato was nasty! Like it had been reheated many times, the soup was below average for the price, no bread came with the soup, when...

my husband and I stayed one night at the Yelf's hotel, Ryde to go to a party for my cousins Golden wedding anniversary. We had a nice large room at the back and it was nice. Clean and had everything one needs, tv, coffee making, it was also quiet. We had a room on a low floor, no lifts, so...
