Stayed here one night with a kid and member of my family on the 25th May. This is (depending on how spoiled you are) a good place to stay. We have walked there from the ferry terminal with a 5 y. o. child and the luggage. A bit of waiting time was required at the reception. The receptionist Nikki was...

Where do I start? After checking in I was given room 34 it was up the stairs and over the bridge then up some more stairs all the stairways and walkways were so run down wallpaper falling off cracks in ceilings and to be honest I'm surprised it's still standing. Once in my room it was so hot I had...

We would like to thank Graeme, the Manager, and his hardworking and enthusiastic staff for their contribution towards making our wedding such a wonderful experience. We live in Ryde but wanted a central location that we could walk to and one where our families could come and stay for the weekend. Graeme gave us the use of the Dutch room...

I cannot fault my stay at Yelfs. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left the staff were charming and helpful. Check in was quick and efficient and our large room superb. The decor could be described as slightly old fashioned but I felt it was in keeping with the architecture of the building. I for one...

Great location on the high street, you can see the sea if you stand outside it and look down the high street. We were a party of 21 on a cricket tour and we found the hotel bar very good and brilliant beer garden. Breakfasts were really nice. The rooms were a bit of a let down, beds not that...

Our son was playing a gig at 'Coburgs' in Ryde and we decided to surprise him and go and watch his band! We rang up the hotel to book for that night, the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and was excited as she was going to the gig aswell! We had a lovely drink in the garden at the...

We arrived at the hotel on Friday evening very tired and a bit grouchy following a horrible drive up from Devon. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, finding a member of staff to help with the luggage and show us to our room. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant is...

Easy location, good staff and an interesting venue. The room was a good layout, food is not bad either. Our room was on the second floor looking out to the high street on a very hot night. Consequently, little sleep, not helped by the poor quality of the bed and the constant shouting and traffic (Wednesday night, don't people have...

We've stayed here a few times while visiting relatives on the IoW and it's usually fine and very reasonable. This was a first trip away with both kids but without the wife and we were given a huge family room at the top of the main building. Breakfast was OK and although the street was noisy at night we weren't...
