What a beautiful and serene place this is. Thoughtful and kind hosts providing wonderful breakfast and taking time to tell me all about the garden and how it was developed. Tucked away yet on Tenterden's doorstep, this is an ideal location for some time to relax and unwind. The bread is incredible by the way. The bed was huge, and...

Just returned from a short break at Bishopsdale Oast and can't recommend it highly enough. Located slightly off the beaten track amongst beautiful gardens and a deer park, it is still within easy distance of various attractions and pretty towns and villages. We received a warm welcome from Jane and Iain who were perfect hosts; enjoyed extremely tasty breakfasts and...

I got my husband and gift experience voucher for our wedding anniversary and we were really looking forward to going away on our own for the first time ever since our son was born 3 years ago. When we booked we received an email from the owners saying that the voucher only entitled us to a continental breakfast and that...

We are sorry you were disappointed with your stay. However before we reply to the points you raised we wonder why you didn’t marvel at the sight of the deer in the field as you drove up the driveway, the peacocks where you parked, the pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, plus the family of moor hens in the garden and at night...

We found the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The welcome was warm and we were thoroughly looked after. We would recommend the evening meal. We had a delicious cheese souffle, mushroom filled chicken, grape sorbet and choice of three homemade desserts. Then coffee and chocolates in the cosy lounge afterwards. The breakfast was also outstanding - everything home made including...

Driving up the country road with deers greeting us made a great first impression as did the peacocks wandering around. The couple running the b & b were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent, and I enjoyed the home made stewed apples. You do have to sit around 1 big table, so depending how you see it, you...

Stayed here for the last two 2⃣days, beautiful location, lovely accommodation and wonderful hosts. Would throughly recommend. I can only reiterated the previous review, the negative and petty comments from previous reviews are in my opinion unfair. It is a family home, not a modern slick hotel with dispassionate ambience.

We loved our stay here and considered it excellent value for money. This is a family home and we were surprised to read some of the petty and rather critical comments on Trip Advisor that relate to decor. The oast is a charming period building in a quite idyllic setting and it was lovely to relax in the cosy sitting...

I don't like writing negative reviews especially as the owners of Bishopsdale Oast are kind hard working people. However I read trip advisor comments all the time as other people's reviews help me decide on whether a place is right for us. Bishopsdale Oast is in a superb location and very picturesque and has so much potential, sadly we found...

I booked this B & B for a night away for a friends 40th Birthday. We were offered the opportunity to book dinner here as well, which was perfect as it meant we could both have a few glasses of wine. On arrival we were shown by Ian to a lovely twin room with our own bathroom. The room was...
