Fabulous place to stay a few nights. Great rural location convenient for Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens. Very quiet area. Very well looked after by Iain and Jayne with a great breakfast and superb knowledge of the area. Would definitely stay again.

Website sold the place very well and accurately. Of course you are are never sure till you arrive but Jane and Ian greet you with a very warm welcome. Their house is lovely. Comfortable, warm and with a friendly atmosphere. Skye, the Labrador, will check you out and rapidly return to the serious business of her kitchen bed. The rooms...

Our room overlooked the deer park and was comfortable and welcoming. A nice touch was the biscuit tin on the tea tray. We had booked our evening meal but this had been forgotten so we had to go out to dinner, not what we had planned, meaning one of us had to drive. The gardens were pretty, there's tons more...

What a beautiful and serene place this is. Thoughtful and kind hosts providing wonderful breakfast and taking time to tell me all about the garden and how it was developed. Tucked away yet on Tenterden's doorstep, this is an ideal location for some time to relax and unwind. The bread is incredible by the way. The bed was huge, and...

Just returned from a short break at Bishopsdale Oast and can't recommend it highly enough. Located slightly off the beaten track amongst beautiful gardens and a deer park, it is still within easy distance of various attractions and pretty towns and villages. We received a warm welcome from Jane and Iain who were perfect hosts; enjoyed extremely tasty breakfasts and...

I got my husband and gift experience voucher for our wedding anniversary and we were really looking forward to going away on our own for the first time ever since our son was born 3 years ago. When we booked we received an email from the owners saying that the voucher only entitled us to a continental breakfast and that...

We are sorry you were disappointed with your stay. However before we reply to the points you raised we wonder why you didn’t marvel at the sight of the deer in the field as you drove up the driveway, the peacocks where you parked, the pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, plus the family of moor hens in the garden and at night...

We found the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The welcome was warm and we were thoroughly looked after. We would recommend the evening meal. We had a delicious cheese souffle, mushroom filled chicken, grape sorbet and choice of three homemade desserts. Then coffee and chocolates in the cosy lounge afterwards. The breakfast was also outstanding - everything home made including...

Driving up the country road with deers greeting us made a great first impression as did the peacocks wandering around. The couple running the b & b were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent, and I enjoyed the home made stewed apples. You do have to sit around 1 big table, so depending how you see it, you...
