Another really good evening at The Three Compasses. It's such a great place for a relaxed, leisurely meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere with excellent service. Such an extensive menu, always so hard to choose . We think it is the best food in Deal which is an acshievement as Deal is blessed with some really good eating places.

Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Looking at the menu I think vegetarians might struggle a little bit here as could only see one option of the main courses. Nice selection of drinks too! Would definitely go again.

I gave just returned from dinner at The Three Compasses in Deal. An absolute delight. The food was excellent. My wife had the linguine starter which she adores ..... and was not disappointed. I had broccoli and Stilton soup - delicious. For mains, the wife had a the fillet of sea bass and I the pheasant. Both delicate, delightful and...

Went here last night with my husband. Had a very friendly & warm greeting. Staff are very attentive & extremely friendly, even though they were very busy they made sure we were happy & had everything we asked for. The food is excellent, couldn't fault it at all, everything is home made fresh. Book early to avoid disappointment. Well worth...

Small frontage on Deal seafront, but a Tardis inside. Our first time and very impressed . Very good menu, reasonably priced. Excellent Manager who made us very welcome and helped us with a special meal for my 84 year old Mother in law. Plenty of room for the wheelchair to stay near us. Will use again. Allen Bateman

This is a lovely place to eat in Deal. The food is great, with a varied menu and generous portions. The service friendly is friendly, but they desperately need another waitress or bar person. The normal two are rushed off their feet at weekends. They really can't give their best when the place is full which is a shame for them..

Have eaten here 3 times now and loved the food every time. Great value for money and professionally cooked. Try the ox cheek. It has a strong but delicious flavour. Goes well with the red Alentejo Portuguese wine. We have also had the steaks and the butternut squash risotto (vegetarian option). All very good. We will be back soon.

Went to the Three Compasses to have the set lunch. The food on all three courses was superb, and great value at £12.95. The waitress named Jo was also very pleasant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant as somewhere to visit in Deal, and will be sure to return, as will my friends!

We had an amazing stay! Having booked a room only the night before, my partner and I arrived on Friday evening. After getting accustomed to the beautiful room and view we then went downstairs to the restaurant for dinner. We had a lovely meal along with great table service. Breakfast the following morning was also delicious, and served downstairs in...
