Where to begin? Cracked tiles, wall paper hanging from walls, mold and broken toilet seat in en suite. Hole in wall. And the price! For such a poor standard it wouldn't be worth fifty quid a night. I've stayed in better hostels. I cannot truly describe how bad this place is. Will never book anywhere again without using trip advisor....

Filthy bath, shower and heavily scaled toilet. One cup for tea in a double room. Went down for breakfast and the entire place was locked up. Telephoned the owners, expecting a refund later and received an agitated foreign tongue suggesting that I could take him to court he would welcome it. Do yourselves a favour, stay away at all costs.

We booked this hotel as a place close to port Lympne Safari. It wasn't expensive so we were not expecting much. We walked into the pub first, wow. Panick as we thought that was it. However a local walked us to the other door and it's a little nicer. No active reception but we were let straight into our family...

I don't even know where to start with this review. Best thing might be to watch an episode of Fawlty Towers, which seems to be what they're modelling their approach to customer service and hotel management on. Rude, inefficient and quite bizarre - we'd booked twin rooms for two different sets of colleagues (the two parties didn't know each other)....

The room was in desperate need of updating and redecorating, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, would not even take a shower it was so bad. No-one to cook our breakfast the next morning. Seriously spoilt our weekend, we were away over night for my husbands 60th birthday and had a lovely evening at a nearby cabaret bar and planned to...

We booked this hotel for one night's stay, we ended up staying for 10 minutes. The room was awful. It had cheap, furniture and bedding, the shower room was old and in desparate need of an upgrade. Stains and heavy wear and tear everywhere. And to top it all we were charged before we even arrived! Despite requesting the hotel...

A classic case of a you get what you pay for. We arrived late at night and could not find the receptionist (same person who served bfast in the morning). I think that he was also a little bit drunk. Apart from that no major issues. Breakfast was quite good. An option for budget travelers but potentially one could find...

Appalling stay. We had to pay for the night upon arrival and it quickly became evident why: the management obviously realises that no-one would pay £101 for one night's stay in a dump like that. The room was very dirty, the bathroom was disgusting (faeces floating in the loo brush holder), the beds uncomfortable, the cot provided for our toddler...

The Reception - there was no real reception area, we went into the bar next door first and then were directed into the restaurant, no welcome, had to pay before seeing the room (this should have been a warning). The rooms are accessed via the back entrance, which was pretty grim, and dirty, cigarette ends and rubbish which remained there...

In a year or so this place will be fine. The restaurant is being refurbished so reception is a builders yard. But the staff are polite and friendly. They resolved our lack of towels quickly. We had a huge family room, which was good value for money. Breakfast, though chaotic, was fab. My kids have never eaten so much. I...
