My family and I stayed at the Imperial over Easter weekend for a special family celebration and it was fantastic. We couldn't fault it at all. My children, 2 and 10 months old, were treated so well by everyone. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful and very friendly to them. It made our dining experience so much easier. Our rooms...

We just had a over night stay here for a wedding. The room was lovely, light airy & large, we had a wet room which was great for us. We had breakfast which had lots to choose from, cereals, pastries, cheese, meats and of course full English all looked lovely & the full English had my husbands approval. The pastries...

Hotel had warned us that part of hotel had scaffolding and we got a room away from that. What was not mentioned is that there is something of a building site in the gardens of the hotel where some new houses and apartments are in the final stages of being built.. We had paid for a suite but were somewhat...

This Hotel lives up to its name. The location was perfect we drove up to Dover Castle and the White Cliffs. The little town of Hythe was nice to visit and a short walk from the hotel. We rowed a boat in the canal which was very romantic (pun intended). The are a few good restaurants in Hythe Indian, Italian,...

We visited here for Sunday lunch mainly to see how the hotel had changed from the last 10 years. The roasts were enormous and tasty. However, we found it rather odd that the gravy was only served 10 mins after we were given our main course. Tip: Sunday lunch includes free access to the hotel's gym/pool

My husband and I were on a short break touring the Southeast of England. Our first hotel was The Imperial and this was followed by The Hydro, Eastbourne and Ockenden Manor, Cuckfield. See the reviews of these hotels elsewhere. We knew that the Imperial was having a complete refurbishment and we had asked for a room that had been updated....

I come here once a year for a spa break with my sister. Always have a good time, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely views of the sea front and in close proximinity to walk into Hythe or along the canal.

The hotel which is located nicely opposite the beach (pebble) is a great stop over for anyone taking the Chunnel or wanting a British seaside escape. From my room France was visible and overall the view was very nice. The hotel is being renovated and it is hoped the tiny slow outdated elevator will be upgraded. The entrance, reception, bars...

There really are not enough words to describe how awful this hotel is. The third floor rooms are unkempt. The paintwork and tile grouting are filthy. The carpets are lifting from the floors. We were not able to use the bathroom due to the mould around the shower and the pubic hair in the bath. We were not made aware...
