After arriving at Romney Bay House Hotel we were pleasantly surprised with its appearance, a large White House situated right by the beach on its own surrounded by a golf course. With the sun shining it certainly was a fantastic view to say the least. After being greeted by a polite lady called Lisa who we assumed straight away was...

The best thing about this hotel is the situation - right on the seafront with a fabulous view. It is also spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. However everything else felt slightly stuck in an 80s time warp particularly the decor and food. If you like chintz and rich 80s style food a la Delia Smith then you'll be...

Thank you for your positive comments regarding cleanliness & breakfast. Your other comments are obviously a little disappointing. Had you read other visitors reviews on Tripadvisor prior to your visit, you would have been aware that we have a front door policy; kept closed for security as most of our guests do not lock their bedroom doors. It is regrettable...

We have in recent years enjoyed NYE with a group of friends at Romney Bay House Hotel. The evening was again excellent in all respects. The welcome, the service and the food all conspired to ensure that we had a wonderful evening. We have been many times over the years and it never disappoints. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary on 11th February . The setting of this hotel is bleakly beautiful , on the edge of the sea wall tucked into the marshes of Romney . We loved it , very quiet and relaxing . Our room was great and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom ( room 9)...

We got a sincere welcome and good advice. I had requested that the food be prepared in a specific way and they more than satisfied. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant delicious. The wine selection was well judged

visited with friends last weekend, it is like staying in a friend's cosy country house with a fine dining restaurant thrown in! Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa and Clinton and their staff. Loved the (well stocked!) honesty bar, the fantastic views over the sea and the wonderful breakfast with top quality ingredients

We stayed in August (apologies for late review) en route from one part of Kent to another, and wanted a chance to explore the area a little. The hotel, which is an unusual, interesting building, sits in the bleakly attractive landscape of Romney Marsh. Our sea-view room was comfortable and appropriately furnished. The 'no choice' dinner was absolutely delicious ......

I stayed at this hotel recently with my father and sister and we couldn't fault it. The attention to detail, the stylish rooms, the sea views and the excellent food both for dinner and breakfast were wonderful. It's a great place to base yourself to explore the Romney Marsh area.
