Id like to say thank you to the lovely staff at Glenwood, however we were very disappointed we didn't get much sleep due to noise of families shouting in the hallway in the middle of the night! The whole hotel had a funny smell about it and breakfast was inedible. We paid £65 and to be honest we didn't feel...

We arrived at Glenwood with reservations for two rooms located next to one another for us and our children to fit in. When we arrived the receptionist realized that one of our rooms still had an occupant in it and offered us a second room located on the other end of the hotel away from the first room. We did...

The hotel is very well situated close to Margate's city center/beach. I absolutely loved the old couple who owns the hotel, they were both lovely. The rooms were a pleasant surpise, we booked a Family room, consisting on one King bed in the first bedroom and two Twin beds in the second. Both the room and the bathroom were clean,...

I stayed at the Glenwood on three occasions following the passing of my father for the price the rooms are clean and comfortable. Brigit who serves breakfast is very friendly and so is the guy on reception. What you have to remember is that you are paying about £55.00 plus vat for two persons. Bargain in July. If you want...

Lovely people, the room was clean although the door next to ours where they keep the fresh towels fell off as we went passed it. ( we put it back). It was a maze of corridors. The breakfast was great, the Irish lady serving us was very friendly. For a two star hotel, it was what I expected. Was a...
