Greeted on arrival and upgraded to a so called 'deluxe room' found the room to be very basic and tired looking, toilet seat was loose, bathroom tiny and needing a good clean, the king size bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together with an...More
I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. Stains on walls, showers ran at a trickle and water slow to flow away in wash basin. Room dreary. Restaurant absolutely amazing, could not fault one meal I had there, cooked to perfection, presented well...More

There are very few hotels in the whole country that allow smoking in rooms now. Some rooms facing the seafront have French doors instead of windows but no balcony to speak of, so if you did open it for a smoke, the smell would go back in the room and you'd end up with a cleaning charge.

We do have a bar in the hotel, with prices in line with all local pubs. We offer a range of draught lager, beer and cider as well as Guinness Surger. We offer a range of wines on our wine list, and a large variety of spirits. We also stock a range of soft drinks.
After getting a drink in the bar, sit in the lounge area and stare out at the sea, before heading into The Orangery, our marble-floored, sea-view restaurant serving fresh, locally-sourced Kentish produce every day of the week.
