First impressions are suppose to be the ones that count but this hasn't obviously trickled through to the reception staff who I think may be the owners. The lady needs a personality transplant that should include a smile ! The hotel is an old Victorian property that has been 'modernised' for todays use. The best aspect is the wifi that...

Was her for very formal evening function and thought it was brilliant. Loved the mix of dinning room and then party rooms. Also the foyer was perfect for relaxing with a drink and chatting to friends. A very well balanced venue. Prices good at the bar. Pianist was excellent, and his dog was ever so friendly.

The staff were welcoming but we didn't like to fact that we were asked to pay for our stay before even seeing the room. The room we had was very tatty and unloved, poor plumbing but plenty of hot water and a heated towel rail which was on ALL the time, as was the central heating in the hotel !. The...

This is our second visit to this hotel with our now 15 month old twins. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms - 4d which was just perfect. Big enough to allow the toddlers to toddle about happily with a separate area to put them to bed, away from our sleeping area and the TV. The bathroom is lovely...

Don't take a dog, they apparently only allow the dog in the bedroom in spite of telling you when you ring to book that the dog can sit in the bar whilst you eat and drink, (we are responsible dog owners and accept and do not expect to be able to take a dog into the restaurant of any hotel)....

Room was perfect, clean, tidy with fantastic sea views. Nice big double bed and good sized shower room. We didn't know much about the area and staff were on...

I stayed there for 2 nights from 20.05 till 22.05.2015. To be fair we first intended not to stay there, but due to a booking problem and the area being busy at that time, we went to that place. Upon arrival we were told by the receptionist that we had to pay upfront (this was not a request, we were...
