We stayed here as we were going to a wedding and thought it would be easier than a hotel, especially as we had the dog as well. What a wonderful find, our only regret was that we couldn't take full advantage of the facilities ,as we were at the wedding. It was very clean and although the bathroom was a...

Well situated for exploring Kent and East Sussex, Heron cottage was well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable, with the added bonus of being serenaded by frogs in the pond who were trying to impress a mate. We stayed the first week in May and were blessed with fantastic weather, which meant we could have our morning coffee outside in the...

We spent a wonderful time at Mallard Cottage in May till June 5 th. The cottage was very comfortable and the garden, the pool and the lovely countryside around were wonderful. We visited a lot of interesting sights but there is much more to see so we`d like to come back. Many thanks to our nice hosts Elaine and Malcolm.

We had a wonderful few days staying in Heron cottage with our toddler and dog. Elaine was very welcoming and accommodating of our needs and the cottage was homely and well-equipped. There were lots of sights to see within a short drive and we could have done with longer to explore the local area. Particularly enjoyed the steam train from...

We stayed in Heron Cottage in summer 2013, but never got round to writing a review. The cottage was perfect, just like I hoped it would be. Very comfortable beds (and we are tall people!), nice sitting room, well equipped kitchen, swimming pool etc. Lots of attention to detail, which made us feel at home. The area is perfect for...

We stayed in Heron Cottage back in May 2014 (oops, I forgot to do a review ... and I did promise to do one, good or bad). It's all good. Elaine was very helpful, despite the fact that we made a very last minute booking. She showed us around when we arrived. The cottage was bijou but more than adequate...
