Stayed on October 28th. Booked online via Booking.com. Paid £200 for a superior seafront room. The room had great views, but was tiny (just about enough room for the double bed, with very little walking space around it). Breakfast was very good. When I checked...More

No lift, steep stairs, very unsuitable for elderly or anyone needing assistance to the bedrooms. No quiet lounge for residents.
The bar area was full of the general public, mostly accompanied by their dog or dogs, leaving very little room for paying guests.

Whistable is a quiet seaside getaway from the hustle and bustle of London so you wont find any Hiltons or Sheratons here. What you'll find is that the owners of Hotel Continental are committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. To our delight, the linen was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was simply scrumptious. We enjoyed a quiet, restful stay in a room with a lovely seaside view. One may miss a few of the modern amenities of newer establishments but I'd stay at this hotel again, in a heartbeat!
