Having staying many nights on business, I'd say that the hotel is a lovely setting but beneath the exterior there are many things that need improving. First of all, the rooms are shockingly badly lit. If you're there on Business forget trying to work. They use the very old

Dear keromax2014, I believe the weekend was a success for all Daniel's fans and we hope to see you back here for the annual pilgrimage once again in 2020. Thank you for taking time to post your review, we did experience issues outwith our control over the weekend and the Leisure Club was worst affected, apologies to all our guests, all back to normal from Monday of this week thankfully. Kind Regards, Ivan Lynch, General Manager.

Hello, I haven’t stayed over Christmas but use the hotel a couple of times a year. I haven’t found it to be dirty. The food in the restaurant is good, breakfast is very nice. We had my mother’ Wake there in January 2018. The food was excellent, service couldn’t be faulted, people hung around much longer than expected because everything was so pleasant even under the sad circumstances. Not a Christmas Party, but an event that went down really well thanks to the staff at the hotel. Hope this helps. Samanthalouise

I’ve stayed in a single room on several different occasions. The thing is the hotel has different wings and some are older than others. I think the hotel itself is 700 years old. I’ve found some rooms to feel older than others. But I’ve always felt it was clean
