The room was perfectly fine and the staff were pleasant but other than that my stay here was awful. They have a nightclub which isn't mentioned on their website, which goes on well past midnight so the rooms have a constant background of loud music and there's no chance of sleeping until the nightclub has ended. Then in the morning...

The room was clean and tidy, management and staff are very friendly and obliging. The breakfast was excellent (don't know how they can do it for the price) we will be...

Amazing food, real value for money, very friendly staff and well worth a visit!!! It also has rooms available, car parking to rear of building too. I recommend the burger with homemade chips, it will not disappoint, the portions are ample too.

We stayed at The Rose & Crown 19th / 20th July. what a great find it was. Michelle & her staff were as attentive and friendly as anywhere we have stayed before. Highly recommend the hotel and as previously said by other folk, The Breakfasts are really First Class. Will definitely book here again an will recommend to others.

We stayed at the Rose and Crown for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend and found it to be basic but comfortable accommodation with everything you need. There was quite a bit of noise from downstairs on the last night (well it was bank hol Sunday!) but it stopped straightaway as soon as the pub closed. It was an...

We visited clithroe with the dog for a look about and wanted something to eat. We went to a few bars where dogs weren't allowed in but the rose and crown accepted him. I got the cheese pie and chips and the wife got gravy and chips. I wasn't expecting much but the cheese pie was the nicest cheese pie...
