Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Whalley Abbey. I stayed overnight prior to a retreat day from work. From the moment I arrived the staff were so helpful, friendly and considerate to my needs. The room was clean, bright and had all the facilities I could have expected and far exceeded my expectations based upon the fact that the room rate...

If you are not part of a wedding party staying at the hotel i would not recommend this spot. We stayed on an evening where there was a wedding the following day and happened to be the only non wedding guests in the hotel. We were put in the room opposite the brides maids so at 6.30 am there was...

From the planning stages through to bidding farewell to the last guest, the staff were exemplary. Thanks to their professionalism, there were no bridezilla moments! Warm, welcoming and the most beautiful backdrop to our special day, I'm so pleased we chose...

Our daughter's wedding took place at Whalley Abbey on 4 October 2014, and we cannot praise everyone there enough for their huge contribution to the enjoyment of the celebration. The friendly professionalism of the team and manager shone through, both in the run up to the day, and on the day itself - Roger, as M.C., was a star and...

Most recently stayed in the Williams room which had the added benefit of a beautiful view of the grounds! The staff are amazing and willing to help with anything a all. We stayed over Tuesday to Thursday night, taking advantage of a brilliant 3 nights for the price of 2 deal, and have to say that the whole experience at this location was brilliant. My partner had been here on a previous occasion with one of her friends (who also has already booked another stay), and from their description of the...

We attended a wedding at the Abbey in July. Stunning location steeped in history. Both the Abbey and the local church are charming. The staff at the abbey could not do enough, we stayed overnight with our 8month old baby and the staff ensured out stay was comfortable and hassle free. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spacious. Highly...
