Am still sat here on the terrace after a phenomenal meal of Duck breast cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the mussels which were delicious and the beer (Lancaster blonde) is slipping down too quickly to be safe. Relaxed and just an ace evening. Cheers to the great staff.

Will be returning to the Waddington Arms near Clitheroe. Pub is very welcoming to children; the outside garden has a large climbing frame and slide, and there are plenty of children's books and colouring pencils inside. Our three year old son liked the owner, Andrew, playing with him, joking and laughing! Service was very good, and the food excellent, with...

This is our third stopover at the Waddington Arms and this time we took along our labrador Barney. There is a warm and inviting atmosphere that pervades through this old coaching house. It lies in 'picture postcard' Waddington and is bursting with character features including flagged and wide plank oak floors, rustic beams, Inglenook fireplace etc. The overall effect is...

We visit the Waddington Arms twice a year and we have done for 35 years as we love the beautiful location and the excellent service we receive. Andrew is the manager of the hotel and his infectious enthusiasm has clearly influenced the wonderful staff around him. Andrew and his staff work so hard to make sure you have the most...

Stayed at the Waddington Arms for a friend's wedding, which was right across the street at St. Helen's church. There are only 6 rooms, so it's nice and cozy! We were in Room 5, on the top floor. Spacious and comfortable, but it's right under the roof, so the only windows are the sky lights and there's unfortunately no view....

We were just visiting Clitheroe and the surrounding areas for the day and had been told about the Waddington Arms. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
