My wife and I visited from Cornwall to attend a 50th birthday party and took a punt on The Old Post House. We found the hotel to be clean, spacious and comfortable. It is ideally located with parking to the rear and we found the food to be superb. We found all aspects of the hotel to be top drawer...

Booked a family meal well in advance for 70th birthday celebrations. When a call was made by my sister in law, the day before our meal, to check the booking, we were told that the meal had been cancelled. No attempt on the hotels part to contact us or try to arrange alternative arrangements, it could have totally ruined the...

The post house was just what we needed, clean well equipped tidy rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic breakfast to soak up the activities of the night before. On site parking, very handy for local restaurants and bars, and excellent value for money. We will likely return, many thanks.

My friend stayed in this hotel. Room was beautiful and clean. Stuff were always friendly and helpful. It was very plesent. We went back to the hotel late, so we have to get in from the back which might bit difficult to find for some people. No parking space in front of the hotel

We spent 2 nights in this town centre hotel and were very comfortable in our twin room which was clean, warm, and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a good choice and plenty of fresh fruit. We appreciated the central location and the parking available. Close to the station also.

My wife and 19 month-old son stayed in room 6, which is very nicely appointed and warm on a chilly evening. The breakfast was really terrific, with lots of fresh fruit (including strawberries and blueberries) to start, and a really fresh, hot cooked breakfast. My son, as usual, didn't want to stay put for the meal; he ran around in...

A group of us stayed from Friday to Monday as we were in the area for a weekend of hiking. Some of the party stayed in twin rooms and myself and others had single-occupancy double rooms. Everyone seemed very satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and also the breakfast (Quite important if you're off to attack Pendle...
