We had been once before for a meal but had not seen the conservatory or rooms. This was a more special event arranged by family but recommended by me so I was hoping it would deliver. I was not disappointed. The conservatory was exclusive to our party, enabling decorations and music equipment to be set up in advance. Guests stayed...

Been here many times, it is always without exception excellent food, the attention to detail is superb, nothing is too much trouble, lovely sweets which they will vary if need be. First choice eating place for ourselves, family and friends, can't praise them enough, thank you for all those lovely meals.

A family hotel, not too big but lacks no necessity. Restaurant, conservatory and bar, it's all there. Rooms are very neat and clean. Some issues with water pressure in the shower. The staff is lovely and the food is good.

We chose the Sykeside because it is close to family I have nearby but is also quite central to all areas, we were staying over for 3 days and 2 nights but unfortunately when I booked they only had a room available for one of the nights so had to stay elsewhere for the first night, but as they say...

Just back from a superb Sunday lunch at Sykeside celebrating a family 70th birthday. Excellent range of choices on the menu and the food was delicious. Around our table we all had something different for every course and we all agreed the food was very nice indeed...especially for the price. We had been before for a family celebration and enjoyed...

This country house hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Rossendale. We had an executive room with private sauna and bath. The hotel is very grand but comfortable and cozy. The room was large with high ceilings, a king size bed, TV, coffee making facilities, free parking, and free wifi. The staff are friendly and helpful. We included breakfast...

We stayed here for one night when visiting family in the area. We stayed in room 2 which was £80 for one night including breakfast. The room was large and looked out over the front garden. I loved the wallpaper, which looked freshly papered and everything was tastefully matched. There were mugs! Yes! and biscuits. Breakfast was taken in the...
