This country house hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Rossendale. We had an executive room with private sauna and bath. The hotel is very grand but comfortable and cozy. The room was large with high ceilings, a king size bed, TV, coffee making facilities, free parking, and free wifi. The staff are friendly and helpful. We included breakfast...

We stayed here for one night when visiting family in the area. We stayed in room 2 which was £80 for one night including breakfast. The room was large and looked out over the front garden. I loved the wallpaper, which looked freshly papered and everything was tastefully matched. There were mugs! Yes! and biscuits. Breakfast was taken in the...

I stayed here for a few nights while I was here on business. The room was bright, cheerful, and pretty large! The bathroom had a very large spa tub. Overall, the room was very clean and comfortable. One night, we did eat in the restaurant and the food was terrific. I have no complaints.. This place was full of charm...

I didn’t know what to expect with this restaurant but was pleasantly surprised to find the food of a very high standard. I have lived in the area for 20 years but have never thought to visit! I will definitely be going back.

First visit to this lovely old country house last night. The food was excellent and was served in a very tranquil atmosphere. The prices for both food an wine were reasonable and we had a most enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for three nights, and loved it. Our room had a spa bath and a sauna, absolute luxury! The room was clean and bright, with beautiful decor and a massive, incredibly comfortable bed. A kettle with an array of teas/coffee/hot chocolate and some biscuits is a familiar and welcome touch, as is the good quality toiletries in the...

The first time my husband & I visited Sykes Hotel, it was to attend a reception after a funeral. The room was nicely arranged & staff was helpful & friendly. The food was pretty typical light finger foods & looked & tasted to be heated up, rather than cooked from scratch. This was in 2012. Three years later, we took...
