Unfortunately, the longer we spent in the room the more we realised how unclean it was. The curtains were dusty, the bedspread was dusty and the dust under the bed was awful. Although the bathroom was a lovely size the bedroom was tiny and definitely not worth the £65 a night cost. In the morning we went down for breakfast...

The rooms were very comfortable, clean with nice toiletries in the bathroom. The landlady was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice. In addition to this it was very well situated on a nice quite road with town just a short walk away. It was very well priced and I thought value for money. Altogether...

On arrival there is nobody home so I'm left standing at the front door. There is a phone number to ring but as an overseas visitor this is not as simple as it sounds. Luckily Lesley shows up shortly after my arrival and her first comment is that I didn't let her know when I was coming. Fair enough, but...

A warm comfortable place to stay in the centre of Melton Mowbray. The room was clean and warm with lovely toiletries in the large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with tasty rare breed free range eggs. what a treat.

Very good Bed & breakfast, it was lovely and warm on a cold autumn night. The whole place was clean with loads of little extras that made the stay extra good. An added bonus was the free wifi. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order. In all a very quite and well run house.

We recently spent 2 nights at the guest house and as many others have said it really is a very welcoming place to stay. The breakfast choice is great and there is something available for everone and plenty of it and first class quality, also on the sunday my family were able to have theirs earlier than what is normal...

Enjoyed our stay here - comfortable room at the top of the house, and absolutely top-notch breakfast. Lady owner and other staff were charming.

This is a very nice B&B in a residential area an easy 10 minute walk into the town centre. As soon as you walk in the front door you can see the property is well looked after. Thought has gone into the decor, which we thought was lovely, as well as the things guests might need in thier rooms. We...

I stayed for one night in a reasonable room on a business trip, Room was pleasant enough, despite the lack of door handle (only way to close it was to slam it and hope you don't catch your fingers). Breakfast not the best, it has to be said. The landlady seemed keen to remind the other guests that there's a...

I'm surprised this Guest house hasn't been reviewed more frequently. It really is a delight and the propriator such a lovely lady. Firstly we were visiting friends and used the premises merely to sleep and have a breakfast next day.We arrived at 4pm after a days spent in the town and at this point the quiet side street was busy...
