Stonepits is at the end of a quiet lane, set in lovely rolling countryside. We were greeted by the owner and her attentive dogs and instantly made to feel welcome. The double room was spacious and well appointed with a lovely en-suite shower room, bed was cosy and comfortable and the communal sitting room was relaxing. The tea/coffee and almond...

We stayed at Stonepits for 2 nights as we were attending at wedding at Stapleford Park on the Saturday, and we're incredibly impressed by our stay. Sue is a brilliant host, so welcoming and she went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room is comfortable with all amenities and thoughtful extras. Best part was definitely the...

Had a brilliant 2 night stay at stonepits farm. Lovely room in a peaceful location. Breakfast amazing, with home-made bread and jams. Home-made brownies were waiting in our room on arrival and on the last day of our stay we had chocolate truffles to sample! Also, lots of thoughtful extras made this a wonderful place to stay.

Lots of reviews here about the fabulous breakfast, and the breakfast is good (seriously, seriously good)......but what also makes Stonepits extra special are the hosts....Sue and Mark. Welcoming, warm and knowledgable about the area...they're just lovely people. We stayed as a family of four, with one two year old and one 2 month old. Nothing was too much trouble. Sue...

4 of us stayed at Stonepits Farm late January for 3 nights and we were very glad we did. The accommodation is excellent and exceptionally well equipped - both in the 2 bedrooms and the communal breakfast room and lounge. The B&B part of the farm is separate from the owner's living quarters, with its own front door, which makes...

We received a warm welcome late on the Saturday evening and were made to feel immediately at home in the comfortable and quirky living room. Our bedroom was spacious, warm and comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. We had everything we needed including dressing gowns/hairdryer/toiletries...

A cut above the usual b&bs. The owners are welcoming and provide surprising little extras that make you feel special. Extremely well appointed room with excellent en-suite facilities, including bathrobes and toiletries, fresh flowers and delicious homemade cake! There is also a separate "lounge" off the kitchen/diner with a fridge and microwave for self-catering. Breakfast is freshly prepared and there's...

I stayed at Stone Pits Farm in September with my friend. Our room, a twin upstairs had everything anyone could possibly want including a delicious home made cake to welcome us and a full cookie jar with a huge selection of drinks to chose from. The en-suite had a lovely large shower, and the beds were bliss. The breakfasts were...

Stonepits Farm is one of the best B&B's I've stayed in UK! The owner Sue made the stay for us with her warm welcome, incredible breakfasts and knowledge of the local area.
