My 9th visit to the resort. Delighted that all of the standard rooms have now been refurbished and they're lovely. The carpets have all been replaced in the bedroom corridors too. As ever the exercise classes were excellent, the fitness team are very good indeed as well as being personable and helpful. As has nearly always been the case the...

We have been staying at Springs for a while now and have always found the resort friendly and accommodating for us both but, as a wheelchair user, my husband especially has been treated with respect, help and kindness. As seasoned users of a variety of 'accessible accommodation' in the UK and abroad we have sampled many rooms and facilities described...

We booked a discounted 2 night stay through my husband's employee benefits, Still not cheap at approx £180 each plus a weekend supplement but we thought it was quite a good deal for something a little different for a weekend. I pre booked a manicure, pedicure and facial as the booking confirmation email advised this. The resort is well situated...

My best friend and I visited Champneys Springs for a two night break that we got in the 50% off for two nights offer in March. We are regular Champneys visitors usually going to Henlow or Tring as nearest to where we live. But we wanted to try something new, so Springs it was. What a fantastic stay - this...

We've loved Springs for many years but over the last year we have come away more and more disappointed. Our visit today has ended with us deciding we'll not be visiting again. Older professional staff have all left, to be replaced by younger staff who act as if we are an inconvenience. They are obviously in need of further training,...

My friends and I visited here for a two night break earlier this month and in spite of what I am going to say we managed to have a good time, but how much better could it have been. What I cannot understand is how Champney's can put their name to this resort. Admittedly there isn't much you could do...

We were looking forward to staying at Champneys Springs on Easter Sunday having heard lots of good things about the quality of the spa however when we arrived we were appalled by the state of the facilities. Our initial reaction to the room we were staying in that it was OK at best albeit with a poor bathroom but that...

Breakfast was much better than dinner the night before. There was a wide selection of fresh fruit, cereals and bagels. My boyfriend had a full body massage, he said it was very good and would definitely go to Champneys Springs and have the same therapist again. I had a massage and a facial, the massage was good, the pressure was...

I don't know if I was expecting to much as I've visited a good number of spas but this just didn't have that relaxing feel. Instead it was full of members moaning about how busy it was due to spa visitors. There were no seats, no treatments, no space in the steam room. Everything was just abit to "casual" If...

Staff were very lovely not 5* service but very helpful and approachable. We had a standard room and the bathroom was very very dated and ran down! This wasn't an issue but had we paid the full price for the break I would have been disappointed. I would advice anyone who wants treatments to book in advance, most people are...
