We stayed here recently in the "India" room with friends who were in the "Jasmine suite". At first glance our room looked fine however, after a good look around... The fridge wasn't working so milk was off by morning , no plug for the bath (not that we would have used it anyway as it was covered in filth), headboard...

Wasn't a bad stay, as was only for one night, the room was cleen. Well presented on first glance but on further inspection could have done with a little tlc, just little things like broken blinds and no light bulbs in the bed side lights. But would go back and stay again.

We stayed at the sugar sugar hotel for a birthday night out. We had 4 rooms - India, Buddha, White Room and Warhol (which had a distinct smell of weed!). To be fair, we booked the hotel for the purpose that it housed us all, and was in a great spot for the night out, and we hardly actually spent...

Located in the heart of Cleethorpes with plenty of bars and shops on the doorstep. Arrived about noon and was immediately shown up to our room by a very pleasant young man from the bar downstairs. Yes these rooms are above a very lively and loud bar with music playing till about 3am so don't go here if you like...

Excellent stay. Great location right in the middle of everything. We stayed on the top floor in the jasmine suite. Lovely room. I only have 2 things to complain about which are that we thought we had a king size bed but when we got in it was 2 singles pushed together. And my son was sleeping on the pull...

Stayed before in a 'luxury' room with a round bed and the hotel had a nice fresh feel. Now it looks very tired. My booking said luxury double room but the 'India' room allocated is far from luxury. The carpet is heavily stained, the fridge doesn't work, only one towel between the two of us. Paint peeling off the walls....

I booked Sugar Sugar as it was extremely close to both the beach and the train station. The rooms looked interesting in their décor and the fact there was a bar/dj & karaoke downstairs made it sound ideal. When we arrived we were told that check in was not until 3 - so we left out luggage with the kind...

I booked this hotel for my mum and dads 21st wedding anniversary for the week, the rooms were cheap and I was happy with the price. There was dust all in the room it hadn't been dusted for several weeks, the fridge was more like a freezer, cans getting frozen and exploded, the window did not shut properly so it...

Me and my son stayed for one night. The India room was at the top and to the rear of the property. Arriving on a Saturday, it was a really dull day, raining and the room has a small window, so it was quite dark. The room appeared to be ok. We wasn't in the room long and went out,...
