Stayed here for one night while attending a wedding reception. A nice hotel clean enough and nice room. Good choice at breakfast but basic produce. The staff are exceptionally polite and friendly just felt £90 was a bit expensive for the experience

Well I was here for just one night with work. There was a large group of us and the hotel served up a amazing dinner from the full menu. With 20 meals coming all out at one was just spot on and the rooms are good and well the shower was just amazing nice hot and not lacking pressure. A...

Hotel is a little tired in places however the staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The food is truly excellent and would recommend it for a nice lunch/evening meal as you won't be disappointed.

Have stayed here on previous visits, but this time I was in the Victoria suite. This has a large sitting room with a kitchen area with a fridge and microwave plus crockery if you want to do your own snacks. I ate in the hotel and the meals were excellent. The bedroom was a good size with another TV and...

To be honest I did find the hotel a bit dated but it was clean and tidy and the staff were very courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food we had here was well cooked, plentiful and very good value for money, the chef even opened up an hour early to prepare us...

I stayed here on business for one night and I really was not impressed. I checked in around 5pm and went to my room. Yes I had booked a single room however the room was simply tiny, I wanted to spend the evening just relaxing but there is no way I could have done that, it was barely big enough...

This hotel is a large bar with a small number of rooms attached , The bar had a large TV playing football which was good because the TV in my room was laptop size. I slept in my hoodie as the room was cold I did ask at reception and was informed it takes a while to come through as...

It's a bit dated but handy for the center of Scunthorpe, ate in the hotel the first night but food was pretty average so ended up eating out for the remainder of our stay. Staff were excellent in all respects...very polite and efficient in all respects. The rooms although quite dated were warm, clean and comfortable with kettle, tea coffee...

Cold and unwelcoming. Also claimed to be dog friendly, but, take note, dogs allowed in room only. We drove to the Jenny Wren pub for dinner ..It was great! But Wortley House seemed to be a fading, grumpy hotel.
