Met a friend for lunch. Roaring fire near which the kind staff had placed our table. Really tasty food with a different menu. Spoilt for choice. Charming staff. Made my new year. The ambience is so pleasant we spent all afternoon there.

This is a great place to stay and has a excellent location for the whole area of Lincolnshire. The property is in the beautiful village of ewerby and quite. Very friendly people run the Finch Hatton Arms and local people are just as accommodating. The village hosts one of the best church spires i have ever seen, and worth a...

Spent a weekend here and we were originally booked into a twin room (all they had left on a busy Saturday night) but at the last minute, a suite became available so we swapped for an additional £30. Turned out it was the bridal suite (only 27 years too late) but it was a really nice room, if a little...

Perfect for a quick stop-over at a reasonable price. Rooms seemed newly done-up and very clean. Bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water in shower, although it took me a few minutes to figure out how it worked. Breakfast fine. Excellent scrambled eggs - a fruit option would have been good. Dinner was good pub standard. Staff could not have been...

......because we couldn't fault it! As we were having a flying overnight visit to the area we wanted somewhere reasonably priced that provided quality and value for money and the finch hatton arms gave us that by the bucket load. When we arrived we were shown to our room in the new wing and we were immediately impressed. The room...

We stayed here for one night on Saturday. A last minute booking. We had a double room that looked like it had only recently been built or refurbished. The room was basic but very clean ,warm and comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a great walk in shower. Rather than travel to nearby Sleaford we decided to eat at...

We stayed just one night but I would have happily stayed longer, the room was new & very pleasant, slept really well in the very spacious bed. Enjoyed a drink in the evening in the very welcoming pub, staff were very helpful & pleasant. The breakfast very very well presented & was delicious. We would happily stay there again if...

The Finch has a good location and a frendly atmosphere with a good selection of beer. However the quality of the food does not match the high prices. All 4 diners had steak which were not particularly good and the medium steaks were under cooked. A small portion of fries together with a mushroom and half a tomato plus a...

We had an overnight stay here and the best thing about the room is undoubtedly the comfy bed. The room, although newly done and modern, is very stark and souless. A picture or two on the wall or a mirror or something is needed to break up the coldness of the decor. It needs curtains too as the blind is...
