Austwick Hall is an absolute gem. Perfect country house with a fascinating history, intriguing art collection and great hosts. Sets the standard. Can't say more than that really! Locally would recommend the Game Cock Inn for a meal - good food after a day out walking. We will certainly be paying return visits to both.

We booked an overnight stay in this beautiful and impressive period property with a wealth of history. A bed and breakfast like no other! We received a wonderful and warm welcome by the hosts, Michael and Eric who greeted us on arrival with tea, scones and homemade jam, served in front of a cosy wood burner. The property has four...

Just home from staying at Austwick Hall for three nights. I feel so relaxed and refreshed, even though most of the time a storm raged outside, I've never had such a peaceful stay like this before. The Hall has four large bedrooms, all ensuite I believe. We had the one over the front door. You can see from the photographs...

We stayed at Austwick Hall for 2 nights as a Xmas present to each other and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, perfect romantic treat! The owners were very friendly and welcoming on arrival, our room was impeccable (definitely recommend the Four Poster Room). Breakfast was so tasty and filled us up for pretty much the whole day! The property is absolutely...

We had a very relaxing couple of nights at Austwick Hall. With just a few rooms it was very quiet which was just what we needed. The hosts were welcoming and provided an excellent service as required. Breakfast was very enjoyable. It's a very old building (16th Century) with an interesting history. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms modern....

Absolutely gorgeous country hall with fantastic service. Very well looked after all weekend and fabulous breakfast. The Blue Room is incredible - you will not be disappointed. The location is perfect with several great pubs within striking distance. Ideal relaxing weekend away in the Dales. Will definitely be going back!

We had a lovely one night stay at Austwick Hall - just wish we had stayed longer! We only booked a few nights before travelling into the Coronet Room. Having completed an ill advised walk in the pouring rain through Gorsdale Scar, we arrived sopping wet and freezing cold. Eric, one of the owners, whisked away all of our wet...

I booked all 4 rooms for 14th August so we could invite close friends and family to spend the night with us. The whole day and night was fantastic. The service from the minute we arrived was second to none, these rooms are the best value for money we have experienced in similar hotels. The breakfast is very good and...
