We had room 10 which has a 4 poster bed room overlooks Finkle St. very quiet until about 7.30 am All the staff we met were very frliendly and helpful, good breakfast....

Called in for an evening meal.  Typical pub menu, generous portions, very reasonably priced.  Beware the cheeseboard, it is far too big for a single person, suggest two or even three share. Free wifi int the bar/restaurant area.

My mother and I stayed here for one night in a twin room. We were very put off by the strong smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. The window sills & bathroom blind were filthy. The toilet seat did not fit the base, far too small. The kettle had not been emptied of previous guests water nor had it...

Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting family near by. As this is an old coaching inn all the floors, walls were at odd angles to each other which could cause problems after a few liquid refreshments, but this added to the quirky nature of this hotel The bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfast was more than...

Stayed on a groupon deal and when shown to our room we were quite impressed with the decor and furniture. The bedding and towels were of good quality and crisp white. However looking further the room itself was not very clean at all. There was quite a clump of dog hair on the carpet near the window, cobwebs on the...

Arrived to no welcome of any sorts and shown to our room. Stayed in room 10, which was clean and nicely decorated. The en-suite was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The evening meal was lovely; the fish was beautifully cooked and a good size. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Despite the good comments I can't give more than...

Stayed here on a Groupon deal for two nights Friday & Saturday. The rooms are nice not posh but clean and tidy. The shower door didn't work was very difficult to open & close. We didn't complain so can't comment anymore on that it didn't spoil our stay. We ate in the restaurant the first night as part of our...
