So glad I came across this little beautiful site whilst searching for a last minute night away. Cosy little pod and a very friendly welcome. The pizzas recommended at stable hearth are out of this world!

The sites ran by the loveliest of people, the toilets/showers were so clean and the pod was so cosy with heaters and lights included. Information was provided for food and places to go through the day and the kitchen has everything you could need already provided for you.

I first saw a mention of Hilcrest Park on Facebook a while ago, and followed the page because I liked the look of it. We wanted somewhere out of the way for a quiet New Years eve with just the kids and a few friends, so we booked a family pod for us (family of 4) and our friends booked...

We've just come back from a night at Hillcrest. We stayed with my 7 and 6 year old who loved it. Kate was very helpful and friendly. The pod is well insulated so we weren't cold at all although it's mid December. The facilities are more than adequate with good showers and kitchen. I would definitely recommend this park.

This camping pod was perfect for my overnight stay, I was cosy despite the typically cold and damp November weather and the kitchen and shower facilities were more than adequate. I arrived after dark and had to be away again before first light but received a warm welcome and was advised of the key drop for my early start, very...

We stayed here for three nights in our touring caravan. We were met by a man who took our details and showed us to our pitch, he made a point of telling me to not let my kids play football around the caravans and not put cleansing wipes down the drains which is very understandable. One evening we used their...

Thank you for allowing us to stay over bonfire weekend with all our dogs in tow. They was all nice and relaxed no shaking or panicking like when at home. Willow cottage was lovely and very comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and it was a very quiet park. Dog field is ideal to walk the...

We booked the camping pod easily online with no fuss and found the campsite fairly easily. We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us to our camping pod immediately and showed us round the amenities. We chose to hire blow up mattresses costing £3 per night. Happily we were upgraded to one of the largest pods and in...

We have visited this place 3 times, and have been impressed with the service we have received. The log pods are always warm and cosy. The owners are always very helpful. We can't wait to return to soon.

We stopped in a cottage here for the weekend. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. I read on one of the reviews that the bed was uncomfortable. The owners response was correct, it is down to personal taste. Our bed was fantastic and we had excellent sleep. The park is dog friendly and has a neighbouring field which has...
