Sarah and her team were asked to seat and feed my family group of 30+ last Friday. The chefs and waiting staff coped admirably and despite a couple of minor hitches the food was excellent and the meal was a resounding success! Many thanks to everyone involved!

This was our 3 red choice in town when the others weren't open on the Monday we were in town. The menu was pretty stale but nothing that compared with the quality of the food. The Grosvenor special burger was special in all the wrong ways. Tasteless beef patty, tough bacon, stale cold bun, chips were ghastly - cold, undercooked...

I enjoyed my 2 nights here, room 9 was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed with others who also had no complaints either. We didn't eat here but did spend a bit of time in the bar. Beer selection wasn't fantastic but had a selection of lagers and soft drinks. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent food and lots of it, the steak pie was packed full of meat and the veg and chips with it were very tasty. The plates was hot which is always good sign of an establishment that cares about how it presents its food. A good children's menu is available too. Would definitely go again.

We went here basically because of proximity to Fylingthorpe, where we were staying, but the menu is surprisingly diverse with a nice selection of traditional pub fare and seafood specials that complement the locale. My partner and I had crab sandwiches which were quite nice and very reasonably priced. We shared a massive portion of onion rings that were totally...
