What a great place, the service is second to none, the food is excellent, as is the selection of beers and wines, and the staff are some of the nicest people we've met in a long time. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu, although looked expensive, when our food arrived it certainly wasn't pub grub, it even surpassed the...

My daughter and I stopped here when the British GP was held at Silverstone a few weeks back. From a purely selfish point of view I'd prefer that word about this place didn't get out because as far as the GP weekend is concerned it's perfect in every way, being an easy half hour drive across country roads to the...

Nice small hotel, better than the premier Inn around the area, freindly staff, a nice bar and restaurant and the rooms are well maintained and clean. A good choice if you are in the Daventry area on business or pasing throught the midlands, i would definately stay there again.

What has happened to the pub/restaurant/hotel that used to be? It seems a change of ownership and a refurbishment of the public areas has ripped the soul out of this one time destination venue. I used to head off to the windmill with anticipation, thinking of the imaginative menus that were created by the team. But now it may as...

I have no idea of when you last came to us but I took over the windmill nearly 3 years ago, and with that, the kitchen staff hasn't changed with only one chef being replaced. I must however agree with you with regards to why gammon was on the specials board. I always look at reviews as honest feedback and...

Great pub in a nice village. Our evening meal was outstanding and the room was nicely furnished and clean. The pub serves good guest beers and has a decent choice of wines. breakfast was excellent, too.

If you're anywhere in the vicinity of The Windmill Inn, I would recommend stopping by for a bite to eat. We stumbled upon this little pub earlier today and it was such a happy mistake. Steve was very accommodating and sincere. I ordered the ham sandwich and my expectations were exceeded. How do you make a sandwich something divine? I...

Had a great meal at this lovely country pub, which has been refurbished well, but not lost its charm. The pub meal menu has a good choice which is supplemented by some tasty specials. The belly pork was superb. Well done to the friendly staff for making us feel very welcome and to those in the kitchen who cooked us...

Stayed here before we went to Silverstone. They even served us breakfast an hour and half earlier on a Sunday morning so we could get to Silverstone before the mass of traffic. We stayed in Windmill room which was decorated really nice and a very spacious room. The hotel staff were really nice and made us feel welcome. We ate...
