We booked in on a Monday as a last minute decision. We has a reasonable deal for a twin room, dinner, bed and breakfast. The room was clean and quite well appointed, however the radiator did not work, fortunately it was not quite the coldest night of the year. The other frustration was that the TV kept cutting out, both...

Stayed here in January with a group of around 200 people, the hotel did very well to organise everyone and the meal was brought out quickly and efficiently. (We had a function room). The staff we interacted with all seemed friendly and helpful. Used the gym which although small was perfectly adequate for our needs. Breakfast can be quite chaotic...

I stayed here every other week over a 4 month period with a group due to work. The rules of how and what we could order with the dinner bed and breakfast deal booked changed each and every time we visited. The staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. You could be waiting over an hour for...

Loo in my room didn't flush and not remedied when I mentioned it (twice). I was told there was no other room available. Mirror in bathroom hanging off the wall (wires exposed) and safe not working. I raised these last two issues and in fairness the mirror was removed and the safe replaced. Room was generally tired and a bit...

The staff are friendly and very approachable. However, the website and booking information don't match the actual experience. The spa is poor, cold pool, cold jacuzzi, facilities are far below what you would expect. Despite paying more for the extra facilities, in room massages are not available at all, my court yard view is actually the loading bay, I had...

Stayed here for a reunion weekend. Staff coped well with the many guests arriving at the same time. Public rooms spacious and well maintained. Bedrooms warm and welcoming on a chilly day. Dinner good and room service breakfast prompt and hot. Quick easy check out.

A huge improvement on the previous visit (November 2015). No problem with access to the room this time which was clean and well presented. The evening meal went well with the food delivered still hot and in a timely manner (200 people present and I never heard anyone complain). A big change for the good - perhaps due to a...

Pretty standard (business) hotel with no special attraction. It has a spacious breakfast area, holds a spa, and large reception area. Popular for hosting events and to lodge employees/visitors visiting the large companies close by. Rooms aren't spectacular, and lack storage space. Beds are comfortable though.

Reception staff were good a special mention to Hugh he was so helpful, bedrooms were newly refurbished to a good standard, although only one draw for storage. The breakfast was just a total shambles…I queued for tea for 10mins, then there were no cups, (they were all over the tables needed clearing) they were giving out paper ones, then had...
