Wonderful ambience, the food is very good especially the breakfast. Lovely clean rooms and lovely hosts. Can't wait for my next stay, beats other 4 star places hands down. Nice and quiet and off the beaten track. Beautiful bed with lovely thick quilt and big fluffy pillows. Wonderful experience!

On arrival on 2nd August 2014, we were greeted by the owner who made us feel extremely welcome, the two rooms we had booked, where well kept, spacious and very clean. Tea & coffee making facilities available, and the offer of some slices of freshly baked home made lemon drizzle cake, which was very welcoming. Had a great nights sleep...

Lovely traditional British B & B. Farm buildings converted into lovely rooms. Beda were very nice and comfortable. The duvet was thick and walm, a treat to snuggle into. The breakfast was wonderful with very friendly and helpful service. Room had a TV which worked well although we only used it for a short while. Realy helpful and friendly couple...

Why would someone complain about the bed on one of the reviews? Mine was soft and deep with a big thick duvet. This B&B is very quiet, easy parking, free WiFi, TV in the room, excellent cooked breakfast, easy to find, 5 mins drive from town with lots of food and pubs etc, and cheap too. It's certainly on my...

This is a nice B&B, nice rooms, also WI-FI. I have read the other reviews about the beds mine was fine. It is set a couple of mile outside Daventry down a private road to an old farm house. Great location the owners couldn't be more helpful. Had a great breakfast and good service. I walked to the Countryman pub...

2 stars may seem harsh, but then not sleeping a wink does bring out the worst in me. All night a barn door (or possibly the roof kept clattering around in the wind, producing what sounded like some kind of riot all night, making it impossible to sleep. The owners must be aware of this, and clearly by propping the...

Mrs Spicer took in 4 weary folk, at a moments notice, after their original booking fell through. It was dark and we were tired. The rooms were warm and comfortable and Mr Spicer brought us glasses and ice for the much needed gin! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast set us up well for...

We only stayed here one night, such a shame as we had a very pleasant experience. The water was warm, the towels were large, the rooms were clean, the owners (and their spaniel) were incredibly friendly and accomodating - especially at breakfast, and the building was beautiful. It is decorated throughout with a collection of prints and furniture, mostly Victorian/Edwardian...
