I found this place through a booking site. Ideal if like me you like to stay in the country have a nice quiet dinner, a glass of wine and relax. You can imagine my disappointment on checking in to be told the restaurant was closed that night but I would find something in the nearest town a few miles away....

We really enjoyed our meal at The Vine House. I found the place in The Good Food Guide and checked out their website to find 'Voted best Restaurant in Northamptonshire' on it. That's questionable. Décor was kinda plain, restaurant was not that busy on a Saturday night. Staff were friendly. Meal was good but starters were simple and not that...

We arrived late to a warm welcome. Our room was a twin, very clean and comfortable, with snall en suite shower and toilet. The washbasin was in the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was situated in a quiet village. Breakfast was excellent - will visit again.

The advantage of a table d'hote menu is that you think before you eat that you know the bottom line, but this is not the case at The Vine House. £33.00 for a 3 course meal with a choice of 3 options for each course seems fine, and the food was lovely, but there was a £3.75 supplement for one...

We stayed here for work for 1 Saturday night in a twin room. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess who I had previously talked with on the phone and made the booking. She was friendly and got us pointed in the direction of our room. The room was a nice size, and was very clean and tidy. The...

Very Impressed! A warm welcome, lovely service throughout our evening, and delicious food! Couldn't have asked for a better experience, the price is a great treat too! Looking forwards to our next visit.

I stayed 2 nights at the Vine House Hotel. On arrival I was confused as the entrance to the car park is not over a dropped kerb. The twin room was nice, the beds comfortable and clean and I had two decent nights sleep. The water pressure of the shower was disappointing and just adequate. The breakfast was well presented...

Vine house is a good, clean two to three star B&B / small hotel, but other reviews had made me expect more. The double room and bed were fine - but small annoyances - the fan in the bathroom seemed to run all of the time and sounded like four Bristol Olympus engines; far louder than the maximum sound level...

We stayed at the Vine House Hotel on a Saturday evening before completing the Silverstone Half Marathon. We were made to feel so welcome both in the hotel and restaurant, and in the lovely village pub over the road, where we watched the 6 nations rugby and enjoyed complementary half time snacks! The hotel is beautiful, clean and well furnished...
