We stayed for 2 nights as a base for visiting castles and gardens in wonderful Northumberland again. Our original intention was to stay in a B&B nearby where we had stayed before. However it was fully booked. Alndyke Farm B&B thankfully had availability. Laura's initial greeting immediately made us feel welcome. Our en suite room was perfect for our needs...

We recently spent 4 nights here with our friends. This was our third visit to Alndyke and it has lost none of its charm. Laura cooks up amazing breakfasts and is a very welcoming hostess. Our room was very comfortable with everything to hand we needed including dressing gowns. Bed was very comfy and there was a lovely big shower...

Warm, friendly welcoming staff. Lovely, spacious rooms with high ceilings. Lovely and quiet but not too far from local amenities. Great views of the countryside. Fantastic breakfasts and tea making facilities in room. Already planning our next stay. Local for Alnmouth and the whole of the Northumbria coastal route. Alnwick Castle and Bambourgh Castle defiantly worth visiting.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful quiet rooms looking over the hills yet close to Alnwick and good communications. Laura obviously has style in the decor, and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful and we were given really good recommendations for evening meals.

A perfect place to stay. Very comfortable bed.....I slept so well!! The house is set back from the road, so it's really quiet. Will definitely stop here on future visits to Alnwick. Great breakfast too....!

We strayed in Apple Tree Cottage for a week, across the road from the farm house next to the farmyard. Quiet and peaceful location. The cottage is well equipped and recently decorated - very comfortable. Handy for Alnwick and Alnmouth. Real log fire so practice your fire lighting skills. Would certainly return

We don't normally choose farms as we like to be close to a town for a drink and food, however Alndyke Farm is about a mile from Alnwick and it's an easy walk along a well defined path. I'm sure a taxi is readily available too. The farm itself is a beautiful listed building and the rooms and the views...

It makes a real difference when people are at the top of there game. This B&B is one of the best. Everything has been thought of and addressed. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable as is the lounge. The breakfast is to die for. Plenty of eating places either in the villages or in the town.

Stayed in Apple Tree Cottage it is so lovely. Excellent facilities 3 lovely decorated bedrooms. The rest of the cottage just as nice. Close to all the attractions in Northumberland. We recommend this place highly!! Home from home facilities at the cottage.

Laura, the owner, is very welcoming and will do her best to please you. The room was really clean, quiet and with a stunning view. The breakfast was excellent and extensive: cereals, fruits, toasts, tea, coffee, juice and a choice of kippers, full English... Would definitively recommend!
