This was ideal for our short visit. We were provided with all we required without too much fuss. Rooms cosy and well cared for. Breakfast was pitched just right. Food came promptly, again not too fussy. We felt at home, and appreciated the chance to spend time with family in the living room.

Stayed here for one night on our way home. Great location, only five minutes from the castle and main streets. We received a warm welcome from Arthur and Jane - and not forgetting Barney the dog! Although we arrived a little earlier than expected, this was no problem. We were shown into the lovely lounge and immediately made to feel...

Excellent hosts, can't do enough for you, very friendly & welcoming, perfect location. Easy walking distance into Alnwick., lovely size room, en suite, Large car park to rear of building. Plenty of tea and coffee etc available, they even give you a small thermos of chilled milk or cream available if you prefer. Would definitely stay again!

Arthur and Jayne are lovely hosts and really want you to have a nice stay. Nice room and lovely lounge, with Barter Books a few strides away, what more could you want. We recommend you stay there. Barny their dog was great entertainment without being too much.

We dealt with Aydon house when organising accommodation for wedding guests. Our guests had excellent service, and the hosts could not have been more helpful to us. Its location in the centre of Alnwick, just a few minutes from the tourist attractions is an added bonus.

As always another great stay at the Aydon, Arthur and Jane cannot do enough for you. Always try to stay here when we are in Alnwick visiting relations. Lovely place to stay, home from home. Close to all the amenities in Alnwick also the A1 which is good for the Northumbrian Coastal Routes.

Aydon House is the perfect B&B for anyone willing to visit the wonderful region of Northumberland while having a cozy and lovely place to get back to each night. All the major attractions, including obviously Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle are but a small drive from the small city of Alnwick. The B&B itself is lovely and very...

Great value for a comfortable one night stay. A beautiful old house a short walk into Alnwick (particularly close to Barter Books). Breakfast was good, the usual cereals etc plus a well-proportioned cooked breakfast and plenty fruit juice/tea/coffee.

This is a lovely B&B, run by the very friendly Jane and Arthur who were superb hosts. It is walking distance to Alnwick Castle and Gardens and also 2 minutes away from The Oaks pub which we went to twice for a delicious dinner. Aydon House had everything we could possibly need - from fluffy towels to thoughtfully provided little...
