Lovely B&B close enough to centre of Alnwick which is about a 15 min walk. Clare is a lovely host and does a very nice breakfast. The room we had was spotless and very comfortable. Whilst shower room was small it was very well equipped and the whole room benefited from extras that are more associated with 4/5 star hotels.... More

We loved our stay at Ravensmede! Claire was such a wonderful host, and her breakfast is the best we've had in England! The room was clean and comfortable, and having an en suite bathroom is always a plus. Within a short walking distance from Barter Books (a must visit) and a bit further into the town center. We walked everywhere... More

The Ravensmede is located about ten minutes' walk from the centre of Alnwick and less than five to the celebrated Barter Books, a cavernous second-hand treasure trove to be found at the old Alnwick station. Prop Claire and her husband made us feel very welcome - and cuddly dog and cat only added to the effect! Our room was stylish,... More

Ravensmede is a beautiful stone built cottage located in a quiet residential estate. I am not a great fan of B&Bs as I feel I am intruding in someone's home, however I didn't feel this at Ravensmede due to the layout of the rooms. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming. Situated on the outskirts of Alnwick it is only... More

All the reviews hold true, you can see why there's not an ill spoken word about this B&B. There's car parking space on the road to the back of the building. After a kindly welcome, we found the room to be perfectly sized, with a comfortable bed, tea, coffee and everything you could want. Claire's breakfast is second to none.... More
