Close to main street but in a peaceful area. Lovely rooms with nice touches to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. David was always attentive and helpful during our stay with plenty of choice at breakfast using fresh local produce. Would recommend a stay here.

Where to start?! The room was simple and lovely. It is really central but still peaceful. The shower was amazing and the toiletries provided (and the lovely waffle robes!) make the place feel like a luxury hotel. However the incredibly warm welcome we received from lovely David was far from a soulless hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for him...

Very helpful communications, great location, David (host) very friendly and helpful, Bow House just spot on. The room was delightful, large comfortable bed, soft spongy carpet under your feet and all amenities you would want. Toiletries in En-suite which in turn was spotless. Breakfast.....if anyone can't find what they want here I would be amazed, from the fantastic cooked breakfast...

Bow House was the full package! Everything was so clean, well prepared and beautifully done. The room was lovely, comfortable and really special. We didn't want for anything, loads of nice touches to make the stay extra nice - wine cooler, dvd's, dressing gowns etc. David was so accommodating and welcoming. The breakfasts were lovely and the things on offer...

A most enjoyable stay where everything we could need was already anticipated. Large, comfortable rooms ideally situated within easy walking distance of the town. The breakfast was lovely and the owners couldn't have been more helpful with many thoughtful touches.

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Alnwick, and this guest house was the icing on the cake. Excellent location, in easy walking distance of all the things Alnwick has to offer such as the pubs, shops, restaurants, and Alnwick Gardens. Attentive service, owners couldn't do enough for you - nice added touches of welcome beers, access to DVD...

Lovely peaceful and well presented B&B. Easy access to main roads but quiet area and parking free(with a permit available from the owners) and not more than 50 meters away. Very friendly owners who could not do more to make you welcome. Close to the town and amenities. Ideal for seeing beautiful Northumberland.

Really lovely b&b. Bow House was everything we were hoping for on our weekend stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived - the complimentary tea and cake was very much unexpected but appreciated. Our room was clean and inviting and breakfast was superb. Would certainly recommend a visit. We hope to return and explore much...
