So first of all I travel a lot and stay in hotels so can be jaded. Was also not used to good hotel experiences at the British Seaside. I picked the hotel as we could take the dogs. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast included and ate there once for Evening Meal. The room was a superior one and had...

Booked two rooms for two nights about 8 months ago through a third party site which may explain why we were initially allocated rooms 24 and 24A, rooms that make Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs at 4 Privet Drive same spacious. After a quick chat with the receptionist we were both allocated more accommodating rooms which were clean and...

Dear Daftlad1664, Thank you for taking your time in writing a review on your recent visit. I have to be honest I think you are exaggerating just a bit saying that under the Stairs of the Dursley residence has more space. I do admit these rooms are on the second floor and because of the building type we have, the...

Dropped in for lunch with my husband and two children. Great choice of food for adults and children. Good sized portions, even my very hungry 10 year old was happy!! Everything was delicious and fresh. Would definitely recommend and will return. Staff were all really friendly and helpful!

We booked with some of my family for lunch and we were not disappointed. We had the three course lunch which was beautiful. I had a tasty soup followed with a lamb roast everyone else had the trio of meats followed with sticky toffee pudding Everyone agreed the meal was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

We arrived in plenty time to check in & so glad we did, all seemed smooth & the receptionist was very polite, asking our requirements for morning papers and so on, gave us the key to our room & advised us it was up the stairs on the left. There’s no lift in the building so we headed off up...

Booked this place primarily because we had our two dogs with us, but dogs or not, this is a great hotel. We upgraded to a castle view room, lovely (but 34 needs a shower upgrade, the only criticism). The breakfasts are delicious, staff friendly and bar lively. We ate two nights in the restaurant which was excellent both nights. Perfect...
