Had a lovely 3 night stay here. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. There was also a really comfy sofa, desk and wardrobe with drawers. The room was bright, airy and clean with lovely views. The bathroom was clean and tidy with powerful shower though no bath. Service was friendly and welcoming throughout both in the hotel...

We have visited the Mizzen Head for meals before and have always had good food and excellent service. It was no different this time. The waiter was attentive without being intrusive and the food was delicious.

What a fabulous find. The room was lovely and had a small garden area which was very nice. Everything spotlessly clean. We booked in for one night and ended up staying two. Staff were all lovely. Menu was great. And all good value too. We'll be back!

We stayed at the Mizen Head last Friday for my boyfriend's birthday. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and immaculately clean. We ate in the restaurant and yet again the food was outstanding, the best oysters I've tasted! However even good food and a good room couldn't outdo the amazing service that we received from the staff, they really couldn't...

A small bar with an excellent selection of gins, whiskeys and wines was our first meeting with attentive staff. An excellent menu with an emphasis on local seafood. The restaurant was clearly popular, the food was excellent and very well presented with the flexibility in the kitchen to accommodate 'off menu' requests. (The Surf and Turf was great). Be sure...

This was a Christmas Dinner with a large party of friends. The bar where we had pre-dinner drinks was a little crushed and disappointingly didn't serve draught beer. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the choice of options available was excellent including vegetarian options. To start I had the maple cured salmon which was quite nice and for mains I went...

This wonderful restaurant with rooms has lost its figure head Alex Watson who died suddenly at the age of 30. Alex will be a hard act to follow, but give it a try as it is the most fantastic restaurant.

We were really impressed with this gorgeous little boutique hotel. We spent 3 nights here and the rooms, the service, the food - in fact everything - was great. Were were in the main house, so I cannot vouch for the annex, but from our experience, I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

The Mizen Head never fails to please. We ate in the restaurant on Saturday 5th November to celebrate moving and despite there being a large party of 16 in, our service was A1! We shared the very generous and interesting antipasto, one of the best we've had, followed by lemon sole with asparagus and bearnaise sauce, (which was an accompaniment...

Just returned from a lovely 3 night break at the Mizen. Whilst our room (room 5) was classed as a superior the en suite facilities were the smallest I have ever come across. It is a good job that neither myself or my husband are very large, otherwise we may have struggled to use it. The bedroom itself was a...
