Popped in for a coffee and ended up having a fabulous fruit scone - which was enormous and oh so tasty. I don't tend to drink coffee but I had a latte, which was very good. Very nice interior and surroundings. Helpful staff. Hotel bedrooms look nice to might look to see about going down to stay for a day...

Lovely meal in a beautiful location. First class, friendly service in the restaurant itself. Can eat in the bar. It was a special reunion with friends and the food and location didn't disappoint. Amazing view of a floodlit Bamburgh Castle as we left.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on Friday evening after a two hour walk with two very tired dogs. V.friendly staff provided water for the dogs. Menu was very varied and portions were HUGE. Very reasonably priced and extremely high standard of food which arrived very quickly. Will definitely go back during our next stay in bamburgh!

Ate Sunday lunch at The Lord Crewe recently. Staff helpful, good atmosphere (very busy). Happy to allow our dog into the bar where we ate. Kipper starter was excellent, seafood pasta main fine. Husband had lamb roast for main but he felt it was just OK, however we were probably the latest we could have been to eat lunch (around...

Your typical tourist trap, always full of customers but with staff that is not impressed to have a job. Especially that blonde young lady behind the bar. Might had been that we are Europeans and have a thick foreign accent cause they were a lot nice to the English locals. No problem, we will take our business elsewhere next time...

I stayed here with two friends for three nights recently, and we really rated the hotel highly. One of the friends is gluten intolerant, and was very gratified to find that they do gluten-free bread, cakes and pastries as the norm. The staff welcomed us warmly, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, the meals were excellent - and generous -...
