Stayed in the Ducket for 4 nights in September. Had a fantastic time walking the dramatic Northumbrian coastline and exploring castles - incredibly lucky with the weather. Loved staying at the Ducket and marvelled at how skilfully this tower has been converted to such comfortable well equipped accommodation. Particularly liked the gorgeous views (can see Lindisfarne) and close proximity to... More

Fabulous holiday home, so interesting and well equipped. We loved pulling into the drive when people were stopping to take photos. It made us feel really special. Great location for visiting the Northumberland costal area, so convenient for the A1.

Our first time at Wagtail cottage, Ross; a family party of seven people, plus a dog (you can hire a Z-bed for an additional cost). Over the years, we've stayed at a number of these cottages, both at Ross and at Outchester. Our favourite is the Beacons, which is ideal for two people, as you get the extra space in... More

These cottages we came across on the Internet at a last minute decision to visit Northumberland were a great find. Parking for 2 cars per cottage and very spacious properties. Handy entrance porch to leave dirty shoes and hang coats, leading into a large farmhouse type kitchen which is well equipped including its own washer and dryer which is great... More

This is our third time staying at these cottages. They are in the middle of beautiful rolling farmlands and convenient for local attractions including the beautiful Ross beach. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

This is our second visit to Ross farm cottages. The cottages are furnished, equipped and cleaned to a high standard. The owners provide lots of little extras to make your holiday more lovely, like huge thick bath sheets, drench showers, flat screen TVs in the bedrooms, beautiful crisp bed linens and lovely gardens. The setting is serene, with birdsong being... More

Stopped in Sandpiper cottage for a week. We chose the accommodation based on expecting a few days of rain. However we had a week of lovely sunshine so we were blessed. As for Sandpiper cottage, we could not fault it. Very comfortable throughout, clean and spacious. The walk to the beach through the local cattle is quite entertaining, and the... More

Loved everything about The Ducket, the peace and quiet, beautiful views, spotlessly clean and the cosy, quirky rooms.Would totally recommend, it has everything for a short break or longer holiday. There is plenty to do in the area, lovely coastal walks, castles, beaches and many good eating places.

Great cottage in a beautiful setting. Have been to several of the groups cottages over the years and have never been disapointed. Also the area is outstanding for walking on coastal path or on many of the beautiful sandy beaches.
