Love the hostel. The self catering kitchen is so well equipped & the rooms are lovely. Friendly staff. Great location. Just spoilt this visit by a gang of 15/16 year olds using the entrance conservatory as a Youth Club to lounge in & smoke e cigarettes in. When I mentioned this to them they said actually they were letting off...

This is my favorite hostel of all time as its an old building that has been saved from demolition and extensively modernized. Situated in the centre of the very historic town of Berwick upon Tweed it is only metres from Cafes, restaurants,Theatre and Pubs. It also lies on the Northumberland Coastal path which is how I came to stay here...

The old granary has been renovated very well for its new purpose as a YHA and cafe/conference facility. I stayed in a private room on the 4th floor and aside from two other guests noisily arriving back to their room late one night, I found it was very peaceful. My only 'disappointment' during my stay was the communal area on...

We stayed in this hostel with another couple during a walking holiday in the borders and it was a lovely surprise. The building has been thoroughly renovated having once been an old granary building adjacent to the river and in the centre of Berwick. The conversion has been superbly done and there is a large welcoming entrance lounge with large...

I stayed with two friends in a triple room - great value with everything you need. Clean and great location. The room had a double bed with a bunk above it and a single. There were plenty of plug sockets, lights and storage so there was plenty of room for us to spread out.

A nice hostel, great food and drink. Friendly and helpful staff. Some rather unruly children during my stay, quite a few guests unhappy about this. Maybe kids should be kept apart from guests trying to relax ?

Well rebuild Granary with a nice combination of stone and steel gives the old building a modern outlook. The room L01 is our favourite. Its in the new annex. People are friendly and the service is excellent. You wont find a better capuccino. Good prices make this an outstanding place to be and have some money left for the train...

YHA Berwick didn't disappoint. This is a fabulous, modern hostel. We booked a three-bed private room (ensuite). Great sized room for two adults and a child (who was very excited about sleeping in the top bunk). (The power) Shower in its own wet room was hot and strong. Brilliant dining and self-catering spaces on the top floor and a quieter...

Located in an old granary (with a funny lane due to the Great Fire of 1815), this hostel has beautiful and extremely clean facilities. Its staff is really kind and the breakfast and the food are above average. I was in winter and it s surprisingly warm inside. The only setback: no wifi in the rooms, but it works very...
