We had a lovely room facing out towards the castle and the coastline. Dinner was in the bar, which was superbly cooked with and served with a very friendly young waiter. Most importantly, the beer was very fine!

My vist to the Manor House Hotel on the Island of Lidisfarne was an absolute delight. It is located next to the ruins of the old Priory with magnificent views of the castle and harbour. On arrival the welcome, friendly and impressive. I immediately had the empression that nothing was impossible. There are ten guest bedrooms and from the experience...

Our party for one night (7 rooms in total) for a special birthday. I cannot thank Harry and his team for all their excellent efforts. The hospitality and service were outstanding and the whole group had a fantastic time. I can thoroughly recommend The Manor House and we will most certainly return in the future, hopefully very soon!

Last weekend we had an enjoyable one night escape to the Manor House Hotel. Excellently located and full of history itself the Manor House is the standout place to stay. Hotel parking was easy, the pleasant grounds and building were well kept and maintained. Overall a good first impression. A warm welcome from Harry who checked us in (and served...

Visited Holy island for a weekend break and stopped at the Manor House hotel, we choose the de lux sea view room which was excellent, very spacious, clean and cosy, we have views of the Priory out of one window and views of Lindisfarne castle out of the other. The bed was a huge size and perfect for a good...

From the outside, everything looked ok (we love the seal), hotel door was locked when we arrived but that was easily solved by going in through the bar. The lady who checked us in was lovely, very friendly. We were in room 1 - the bed was really comfortable but I was a bit miffed to find that we had...

After a good first experience we booked two further visits during our stay. The staff were brilliant and produced delicious gluten free vegetarian food for Carol, and equally good veggie food for me. They produced dishes just for Carol, taking into account all of her dietary needs. So for us they are to be both commended for their effort and...

This 10 bedroom hotel is in an excellent location and the sea view rooms have a fantastic view over the harbour, Lindisfarne Castle and Lindisfarne Priory is nearby. Each room is well decorated, very clean and with the usual amenities in the rooms and as we were there over the New Year period the bedrooms and function rooms were warm...

Had booked online for just two nights. We usually stay in a cottage, but realised it would not work for a short break between Christmas and New Year. Very quiet, although people were staying. "Not your average fish and chips' was the best haddock and chips I've ever tasted! Not usually a fan, the huge, locally sourced, haddock in 'Caught...

We love this hotel, having visited at least once a year for the last 7 years. The location is fabulous and there is a good mix of bustle, when the causeway is open, and peace, when the tide is in. There are many lovely walks on the island and a variety of interesting shops. Our favourite room is the one...
