Travelled to Holy Island for a few days away and I am so pleased we chose this hotel. We only booked last minute - driving up in fact! On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our room. Although we had no view our room was exceptionally clean with am abundance of tea and coffee, complimentary... More

We had our wedding at Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island last December and some of our guests stayed at the Manor House Hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We had our wedding day lunch in the dining room and the food was fabulous. The views over the bay, the castle and the priory are stunning.... More

We found the Man House on the second lap...the or had fallen off. That did not diminish the quality of service. The staff at the bar fell over themselves to be helpful and the House Manager ensured that our room was available as soon as possible. When the staff carry your bags up the stairs you know you are on... More

Margaret and I decided to walk to Holy Island over the Pilgrims Causeway on the 28th February as an adventure for Margaret's birthday the following day. We planned to stay at The Manor House, with friends who had thankfully taken our bags by car, so we could do the walk. Arriving on foot over several miles of sand and after... More

We recentely ate here on the 21st Feb 2015 and were very impressed by the quality of the food and the freindliness of the staff. Most places on the island seem to book out for food very quickly of an evening and we'd been turned away at two others before the being given a table here even though they were... More

We have just spent 3 beautiful "blue sky days" at the Manor House Hotel on Lindisfarne in Northumberland. We woke up each morning to the treat of seeing a Barn Owl hunting over a field right in front of our bedroom window in the sunshine. The hotel is right next to Lindisfarne Priory where Christianity developed all those years ago... More

The hotel is set in such a beautiful location, with such good views that it could pretty much do anything and I would consider it lovely. It was a delicious breakfast and dinner with great portions and quality. Local produce was also included which was nice. The staff are so friendly and personable. All in all wonderful.

Warm, comfortable, clean, welcoming - just what one might hope for from a stay on Holy Island. My husband and I and our 4 teenaged children thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Manor Hotel. Our young particularly appreciated the generous helpings of delicious food for supper. We were looked after beautifully by the friendly staff and would definitely recommend this... More
