This was the 5th year in a row that myself and my partner Margaret have stayed at this excellent hotel for our Valentine's trip.We had booked room 33,for three nights, before leaving from our trip in 2016.It was one of the rooms that had been added during the refurbishment, and, like many of the rooms, has wonderful sea views out towards the Farne...

What a warm welcome we all had . Dog friendly inn overlooking the harbour really nice meal and drinks after a lovely walk on the beach . All staff took time to fuss the dog and make you feel really welcome . Even have rooms if you enjoy yourself too much . Will definitely make a point of going back...

We called in for a coffee one Sunday after an enjoyable walk along the harbour after they had finished serving breakfast. The bar / restaurant has fabulous views out of the harbour and beyond to the Farne Isles. We noticed that they had rooms and this is now on our hit-list for a weekend stay. S&D

Lovely 4 night break in dog friendly hotel. Staff very helpful when I asked about Gluten free items on the menu (although I feel there was not much choice especially starters and desserts). Buffet breakfast was very good. The décor has been updated recently and the staff keep everything clean and replenished. Husband couldn't believe when his favourite Langoustines were...

My wife and I popped in for a couple of beers one afternoon whilst having a few days off. Great beer, I settled for Farne Isles ale and she settled for black sheep. There was a good gin menu & the food looked good but we didn't eat. Staff were friendly, let us sit at a prime table overlooking the...

Having just arrived at our holiday accommodation for the week, we ventured into the centre. We tried another pub before eating at Bamburgh Castle Inn. The first didn't allow well behaved dogs in! The designated dog area was big and lots of choice of tables. The food was adequate, I had smoked mackerel pate with 3 small pieces of bread,...

Lovely pub fantastic views and great menu attracted us to book for Sunday lunch at 130pm. It was very busy but our reserved table was ready. We had heard great things about the carvery so plumped for that. Unfortunately the beef was overlooked, dry and tough and some of the veg had run out by the time we were served....
