Stopped in to Seahouses on our way home from a couples weekend away. The restaurant was very busy but we had pre-booked a table as we were a large group. We had the Sunday lunch carvery which you paid for at the bar and given a token which you then gave to the staff member when you picked up your plate. You could pick either 1 meat or a bit of all, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, mash, roasties, peas, turnip and lashings of gorgeous meaty gravy. The normal menu was also available and what we saw going out to the tables everything looked lovely. The staff were friendly and the meals were very reasonably priced and the servings were very good.

Mmmmmm. No. £10 a head, Noon until 3pm, so we went along 13:30. We had a drink and i surveyed the carvery, looked a bit depleated, so we waited a while, they replenished the meats etc. So we decided to proceed. Run out of turkey, so pork or beef. Tried the beef, well, dry doesn't do it justice. Shoe leather, drier than a Weetabix. Plenty of veg, all overcooked.
Sorry, but just not good.

Called in here for a drink after a bracing walk along the harbour....place is lovely and cosy with fabulous views out over the sea. We contemplated food but for the same sort of price I knew we would have better at a place in nearby Bamburgh. Would definitely go back and would have food probably in the summer when you can sit out in the lovely garden overlooking the harbour/sea. Good service from a young gent on the bar, very friendly with everyone that he dealt with.
Thank Marion M

Spent 3 nights here on a lads golfing trip playing wonderfully scenic local courses. Room 21 had a stunning balcony overlooking the sea, well presented and ample space. A sumptuous full Northumberland‎ breakfast with a harbour view to die for, a good selection of fine ales and a varied choice for Dinner, couldn't fault it really, good staff too, nice folk, highly recommended.

Thank you for the question Michelle T, Our smoking areas are situated in the beer garden or the area close to the car park. Unfortunately, the balconies are non-smoking. We do hope to see you soon!
