Ginny and Bob are such wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Bob even kindly offered to pre-book our table in the local Italian restaurant in Wooler. Much appreciated after a long day walking in the hills. Ginny's breakfast is an unforgettable start to the day. Hope to return very soon.

Let me tell you why the kippers you'll get for breakfast, if you stay with Bob and Ginny, are the best in Northumberland. A lovely 2 night stay while walking St Cuthbert's Way. Bob and Ginny were very welcoming with a pot of tea on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable room with a wonderful breakfast. Bob kindly picked me up at the end of the second day's walking and took me back to the route the next day.

We arrived drenched, and were instantly dried, warmed, fed and watered by people who felt like family. Bob and Ginny could not have been more welcoming: they anticipated our every need and we cannot recommend them too highly!
