Had a brilliant time staying at the Old Mill B&B. The room was amazing, so clean and so relaxing, hosts were fantastic and breakfast was phenomenal. Little touches like chilled water and fresh milk for tea added to the whole experience. If we were to head back to Northumberland would be staying there again.

Wonderful hosts who went the extra mile, making our three night stay feel like home. Comfortable, well furnished spacious rooms within a short walk of the small town centre. Enough choice at breakfast to keep everyone happy and enough flexibility from hosts to cope with anything else we wanted.

A friend and I stayed here for two nights whilst on the St. Cuthbert's Way walk earlier this month. We were made to feel very welcome with tea and home-made muffins brought up to our room where our bags had already been delivered. Our twin room was very clean and comfortable and the en-suite bath was a blessing after our...

Where to start? This is really a wonderful place to base yourself if you wish to tour some of the most beautiful countryside this Country has to offer. Now to The Old Mill itself. Patrick (aka David in another review) and Paulette could not have made us feel more welcome. They both provided a wealth of ideas on where to...

Patrick and Paulette were very friendly and welcoming: they couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very clean, and well furnished to a high standard. Breakfasts were superb with a good range of delicious options on offer, and much of the produce was home made. It was also lovely to be greeted by name each morning as we arrived...

We really enjoyed our 3 nights staying here whilst going to a wedding nearby. Paulette and Patrick made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was very clean, tidy and comfortable. There was a great choice for breakfast including homemade jams and compote. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short time here, and was reluctant to leave. Patrick and his wife went way out of the way to make sure of our comfort and ease. Their lovely rooms and the fresh wonderful homemade everything was a delightful and wonderful gift. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
