Fantastic breakfast good price rooms where comfy and warm, beers where great plenty of choice very friendly staff/manager, no problem with locals but you expect them in any local village. Would stay again and try the restaurant.

Don't expect corporate carpets and king-size beds, but the room i stayed in was perfectly serviceable, if small, but it's for sleeping in, not ballroom dancing. The linen was crisply fresh, the room warm, the bed just right and I slept well. It IS a pub, and on a Saturday night is lively- it seems the heart of the village....

We, fortunately, only stayed one night. The room was so small that the bed was against one wall. If the need had arisen it would have necessitated a climb over to get to the bathroom! The bathroom was similarly very small with a handbasin so tiny that water splashed over the floor when the taps were turned on. It was...

Stayed in a twin bedded room, the mattresses were inadequate, had a really bad nights sleep. The amenities in the room were OK, but no Wi-Fi and the reception on the TV was terrible. Staff friendly and polite.

having not called in for a drink in a while we decided to see what the new management had done to improve the place. Nothing is the answer . Being a lovely small pub is still ruined by the bar being almost impossible to get to as the locals sit in groups at the bar completely blocking it. They have...

The rooms were adequate - tiny ensuite bathrooms. The lady on the bar said we would need to pre-order a specific time for breakfast the following morning! We decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. The website said the pub closed at 12 midnight, but Karaoke continued until 1.30am! We should have been pre-warned, as our bedrooms were immediately above the bar,...

Was looking forward to staying away for a family wedding pub had good reviews so keen to stay as nearby venue. All I can say is it's now changed hands and was so terrible. The room was very small shower not in good condition. The service was the worst I've ever received. Not only did they over book so part...

A warm welcome, very pleasant setting and beautifully prepared and presented food. Prices were very reasonable and the range available good. Chips hot and crisp and the ham delicious. Good coffee too! Lisa was charming. We will be going back.
